Source Just Jared:On-and-off-screen lovers Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are no longer hiding their relationship, reports USA Today.
Zac and Vanessa, aka Zanessa, were openly affectionate on the set of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, from wrapping their arms around each other to splitting a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
“Life imitates art,” says [director and choreographer] Kenny Ortega. “It doesn’t hurt us that Zac and Vanessa have a connection. When Zac and Vanessa first auditioned for me, they didn’t know each other. But the chemistry those two kids share was just there. It has always been there.”
Vanessa, 19, is a believer of her chemistry on-screen with Zac. “I’m such a hopeless romantic,” she says. “You can feel the emotions Gabriella has for Troy. Zac and I have done three movies together now, and we can basically do anything in front of each other. We’re so comfortable, we’re not afraid to take chances.”

A rep for the singer confirmed the news to E!News, "She is wrapping up in the recording studio right now". Zac, as usual, had all of his female fans’ panties in a bunch. According to The Desert Sun, five female friends and cousins wore white T-shirts spelling out the word Hairspray in hopes of seeing the teen hearthrob.
“I almost hope it rains, I love it when (Zac’s) wet,” said Bekah Hoesterey, 16, of La Quinta.
